Spader Speaks On His Newest Single, “Breathe”

Breathe is one of my favorite songs I have put out. I actually freestyled the hook. I was in the studio and Alan Longo was cutting me. He looked at me and was like “We’re keeping that. Start writing the verse”. My mood completely collided with the beat and it was totally natural. It was so funny because the song who the girl was about was on her way to scoop me from the stu, and as soon as she pulled up she texted me that she was outside. If you listen to the song at 2:05 you’ll hear her texting me as soon as she pulled up. Talk about perfect timing.
